ISAAC BAZAN: The New Classic

Quiet and reserved, Isaac Bazan is a hard-worker who manages almost every aspect of Tex Mex Records. He is the guitarist for the group Tex Mex Kadillaks and enjoys playing Tejano music. The Tex Mex Kadillaks have worked with other Tejano artists most recently including Elida Reyna on their song "Te Juro Que Te Amo." Since Isaac writes out most of the group's publicity statements and press releases, he is hoping to go back to the University of Texas - Pan American and finish up his degree in communications.

Scrawny. People would tell me I looked like Ralph Macchio when I was little.

Which Valley restaurant would you take a first date to?
Probably Shogun. When you're waiting, you get to talk and get to know each other, it's entertaining and the food is awesome. 

What physical feature are you most insecure about?
I'm content with the way God made me.

When you want to pig out, what do you eat?
Buffalo wings. I go to town on those.

What's one bad habit you wish you could kick?
Being impatient

Who is your celebrity crush?:
Carrie Underwood. She's just a real person.

Would you or have you dated an older or younger woman?
Yes, older. She was 4 years older than me.

What's the worst date you ever had?
You know, when you go along for the ride, your friend, his date, her friend, and you just want the night to be over.

What's your favorite store at La Plaza/Outlet mall?
I really only go 3 or 4 times a year, and when I go I usually just go for jeans at Buckle.

Have a fan that's in love with you?
In general, our fans admire us for who we are as a band, not individually. It's a group thing. They love us for our music.

I mean, I can't name a price. They would have to make an offer.

-My secret turn-on is: It's a secret. A girl I used to date told me I did these little things that she really liked, and I asked her what they were. She said she wouldn't tell me because then I would stop doing them or try too hard to do them. It was a good point.
