Rapper T.I. coming to McAllen
T.I., a platinum selling hip hop superstar, will play January 3 at the McAllen Convention Center, organizers announced.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday at Melhart's Music in McAllen, Wireless Toyz Locations across the Valley and online at www.ez-tixx.com.
T.I. hails from the Atlanta area, and he has dubbed himself King of the South. He has collaborated with famous rappers ranging from Jay Z to Kanye West.
This latest tour comes in support of his album Paper Trail. The album marks his sixth release, and it has climbed sales charts and won several awards. He has also appeared in television programs including HBO's Entourage. Ticket prices have not yet been determined, said Zar Castillo, one of the concert's promoters.
