Adrian Varela plays drums in two different Valley bands - Jericho Machine and Methmare Motorcade. He breaks down the difference between the two like this: Methmare Motorcade is more punk, metal, rock. Jericho Machine sticks to R & B, hip hop and pop rock. Either way, Varela plays drums for both.

Favorite drink?

Beer. Just Beer. I don't care which ones, just beer. Anything but Heineken.

Why is music important to you?

I've been playing it pretty much all my life. That's all I got. I don't have school. I don't have work. This is my job, this is what I do.

Would you ever date an older woman and why?

Probably yes. I am actually, because they're more experienced and they can teach me new tricks.

Would you ever strip for money?

I have actually. Yes I would. I pretty much traded clothes with a girl, then I walked out with a bra and underwear and got money for it. Walked out with like 20 bucks.

You're stuck on a desert island, what three albums do you have with you?

Red Hot Chili Peppers "Blood Sugar Sex Magik," Tool the new one, and probably something like to trip out to right before I die, maybe like Portishead, the self titled.

Best part about being a musician?

Doing what I love every night. Practicing, meeting new people.

Describe your style...

It's kind of Dave Grohl meets Chad Smith, kind of funk that's heavy.

Best/worst song to jam out to?

"Aenima" by Tool.

What's the biggest lie you've ever told to a girl?

That I'm a big, rich rock star

What three qualities make a girl sexy?

Personality looks and taste in music.

Best rumor you've heard about yourself?

That I'm a big, rich rock star. I didn't start that one though.

Would you rather date a hot chick or one with a sense of humor?

One with a sense of humor. Definitely.

Celebrity crush?

I don't know. I have a few. Angelina Jolie is freaking hot.

If you could have any talent other than music what would it be?

Probably art. I love to draw, sculpt, stuff like that.

What's the craziest thing you've ever seen at a show?

People running naked. It was at the Pantera concert. Three girls just...woooooo.

I don't know, I don't have a favorite part.

Biggest musical influences?

Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Danny [Carey] from Tool, Dave Grohl from both Foo Fighters and Nirvana, and Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters. There's a lot.
