McAllen Earth Day Festival features many activities

McAllen's Earth Day Festival, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Quinta Mazatlan, will feature live ocelots, music and more.

The more just mentioned above includes a 5K run, live birds of prey, live reptiles that hopefully won't get in a big huge fight with the birds of prey or the ocelots, a farmers market, native plant sale and tons of activities for kids.

The event is called Viva Verde 2012, and it costs $2 for adults and $1 for children.
