Eric "I Killed Techno!" Linares makes no secret: he loves to play house parties.

Sure, he enjoys doing shows at local art galleries, lounges and the occasional VFW. But when he plays a house party, his true style comes out.

"There's really no limit to the house party," he says. "It's just a bunch of people having fun. At a venue you can't say certain things or get too rowdy. But at a house party the kids can get as rowdy as they want."

And Linares says that's what makes a great electronica artist. True, you need talent composing, but you also need to but on a crazy live show. And that's his goal when he performs.
