Rock is a battlefield

It's come down to this.

After weeks and weeks of head to head competition, the third and final round of the Spike's Ford Battle of the Bands is here.

Dozens took the stage, only two are left standing: Broken Poetz and The Jericho Machine.

The winner will drive away in a brand new van and of course bragging rights.

Each will take the stage starting at 4 p.m. and will have 45-minutes to prove they have what it takes to walk away with the title.

The winner will be announced at the end of the day, said Ever Chapa, marketing director for Miller Lite, which is sponsoring the event.

The Rock-a-thon will not only kickoff the start of Harley-Davidson's 105th anniversary celebration nationwide but serve as a fundraiser for the Comfort House and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Next month Rio Grande Harley-Davidson will be the staging point for "The Ride Home," the largest ride ever put on worldwide with the Harley headquarters in Milwaukee, WI as the end point. Harley-Davidson's 105th Anniversary celebration is set to be the must-see music event of the summer with the rock band Foo Fighters headlining the party.

Information will be available Saturday for anyone interested in joining the ride.
