Comments 0 | Recommend 0

TODAY AT 1 P.M.

Science on a Sphere at the International Museum of Arts and Science

McAllen's excellent International Museum of Arts and Science has a new exhibit, and they can't wait to share it with you. The exhibit debuts to the public this Sunday, and museum organizers are hosting a shin dig Saturday evening to welcome it. The new piece is a six foot sphere suspended above the ground. Digital projectors will flash pictures of animal migrations, hurricanes and more onto its surface. It's a well-done piece and don't waste much time before going to check it out.

  • Cost: For the Saturday night event, $25 for the general public and $20 for IMAS members
  • Call: (956) 682-1564, call for reservations, attendance is limited for the Saturday night event.
  • Online: www.imasonline.org
  • Where: International Museum of Arts and Science, 1900 Nolana, McAllen TX

FESTIVAMOS: Proving every week there's always something to do in the Valley. For more stuff to do, check out our events directory.
