Two Latin powerhouses to perform at Dodge
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Two Grammy Award-winning names in Latin music area teaming up for a concert at Dodge Arena in August.
Marco Antonio Solis and Pepe Aguilar will perform August 6 at the 5-year-old venue in Hidalgo. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
Solis, 49, has had songs perform well on the U.S. Billboard Latin since 1987. His recent CD, No Molestar, was released in October.
While the star notoriously stays out of the public eye, it hasn't hindered attendance at his concerts. His most recent shows in Mexico, Argentina and other parts of South America have been known to attract more than 13,000 people.
Aguilar, originally of San Antonio, was born into a music legacy; his parents are Mexican recording legends Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre. In his nearly 20 years recording music, the 41-year-old has garnered more awards than any other regional Mexican artist, among them five Grammys.
Tickets will be available on livenation.com, Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 800-745-3000.
