A new bar for alternative-lifestyle patrons has opened in McAllen.

Club 33 is located at 3300 N. McColl Road, in the same shopping center as La Pampa and the Buddha Mansion Club, formerly Tao. Club 33 takes over the spot once occupied by Bacci Bacci, the very, very red nightclub that shut down in October.

On its Web site, Club 33 boasts of an elevated dance floor in the center of the club and swanky deals for VIP. The VIP area, located on the second floor, will feature leather couches, a private dance floor and a private bar. Table reservations can be made by calling (956) 627-3312.
