The University of Texas-Pan American’s Mexican Studies Program will host the three-day National Association for Chicana and Chicano Studies (NACCS) regional conference from 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, through 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.
The theme of this year’s conference is community-based pedagogies, scholarship and activism, so there will be a number of speakers and workshops on those topics available throughout the conference.
All participants must register to attend online or on site at the university. Registration is free for UTPA staff, students and faculty.
