Artist Alma Casso, through her art school Let's Paint, is offering painting classes which are taught in the classical method, where both the teacher and the student work/paint together. Depending on the each student's level, she guides the student in selecting the subject, approaching the composition, drawing, and applying the paint to the canvas. In addition, she teaches each student how to mix colors, how to make different brushstrokes, and how to use the mediums. In essence, she provides as little or as much assistance as is necessary for each student to finish his or her painting.
In addition, I teach a some painting theory during each class. That way, students learn while practicing. At the end of every class, I like to give the students some "free time." I provide them with a blank piece of paper and let them doodle with their leftover paint. This prevents them from throwing away paint, and it increases their creativity.

Any other details you might have would be helpful.
I have a lot of activities planned for the summer courses. In addition to painting with acrylics, I like to teach students to create their own paints. I have many recipes for the creation of paints with honey, flour, and even coffee! I also teach students to create art on very unusual surfaces such as stones, glass bottles, empty containers, and so on. This encourages children to recycle and reduce the waste they generate.
I'm attaching copies of flyers of the summer classes in both Spanish and English. These contain dates, class times, and cost. In addition, I'm sending you a copy of my bio and a photo of one of my students who won the national painting contest "Celebrating Art."
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact me if you have any comments or questions.
