Memorial Wrestler Signs With Lindenwood

McAllen Memorial High School wrestler Denise Yanez signed a scholarship to attend Lindenwood University on Tuesday, May 11, at her high school. Yanez is a three-time district champion, has placed twice at Regionals and is a two-time state qualifier. She is the only wrestler in school history to compete at the state level. The 128-pounder’s career record at Memorial is 30-4. Lindenwood is an NAIA school in St. Charles, Mo.
