Wedding: Prochazka-Womble

Crissy Prochazka and Jake Womble were married at 5 p.m. on October 10, 2009, at the Inn at Chachalaca Bend in Los Fresnos, TX. Minister Steven Parker performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride’s parents are Henry and Cindy Prochazka. Father of the groom is David Womble.

The bride wore an ivory/platinum organza silk halter gown with a sweetheart neckline emphasizing the shirred crisscross fitted bodice. The waistline was accentuated with an intricately beaded band and the skirt gathered and tucked creating billowing layers down the full skirt semi-cathedral train.

The bride’s headdress had a veil adorned with small rhinestones.

The bridal bouquet consisted of all white stargazer lilies, orchids and roses.

Maid of honor was Ravin Spofford of Mission, TX.

Bridesmaids were Lori Hartnett of Austin, TX, Kristine Hilliard of San Antonio, TX, Nicole Cain of McAllen, TX, Beth Mattar of Mission, TX, Baily Dizdar of Mission, TX, Megan Morley of McAllen, TX and Crystal Greenhill of Edinburg, TX.

Flower girls were Sage Prochazka, Bryn Prochazka and Elyisha Mattar.

Best man was Louis Womble.

Groomsmen were Grant Odom of Edcouch, TX, J.T. Wallen of Edcouch, TX, Chris Odom of Edcouch, TX, Dustin Dickerson of Weslaco, TX, Benton England of Mercedes, TX, Bryan Zurlo of Weslaco, TX, and John Sparks of La Blanca, TX.

Ushers were Colby Prochazka, Casey Prochazka and Bryan Parker.

A reception was held at the Inn at Chachalaca Bend.

After a honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in McAllen, TX.

The bride graduated from Sharyland High School and attended Texas A&M University from 2003 to 2005. She graduated from UTPA in 2008. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse with Mission Regional Medical Center.

The groom graduated from Lyford High School and graduated from South Texas College in 2009. He is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
