If you haven't already seen The Beatles live, you never will. But their music has inspired generations and continues to do so. The Beatles arguably had the biggest influence on music than any other band.
Tonight is an opportunity to experience The Beatles' music played live, on stage, at Cine El Rey, by Mexican rock band Jumbo and special guest, Chetes.
Several years ago at a jam session, the band members of Jumbo started playing around with some songs by The Beatles and decided it'd be a great idea to do a set of just those classic songs. In 2002, Jumbo played a gig in Monterrey, specifically a tribute to The Beatles and lead singer Castillo Guerra said the response was overwhelming.
"It was a big hit," he said. "It was a sold out show."
It became an annual event in Monterrey, and this will be the first time for them to perform the tribute in the United States. The 2-hour show will be full of songs by The Beatles, such as "Hey Jude", "A Hard Day's Night", "Blackbird", "I Am the Walrus" and much more.
