Wedding: Muñoz-Gama
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Sandra Muñoz and Saul Dario Gama were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on August 29, 2009, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in San Benito. Father Ignacio Luna performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Juan Muñoz and Sylvia G. Garza of San Benito, TX. Parents of the groom are Rene and Teresa Gama of Mission, TX.
Sandra wore a breathtaking cathedral length tulle A-line wedding gown. The gown was adorned with pearls, rhinestones and sequins. To complete her look, the dress ended with scalloped edges embellished with beads.
Sandra wore a traditional cathedral length Spanish mantilla, adorned with pearls, rhinestones and scalloped lace edges.
Sandra carried fresh hand tied red roses adorned with crystals and pearls.
Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Jessica Muñoz.
Bridesmaids were Melinda Garza, cousin of the bride, of Kennewick, Washington, Cecilia Garza, cousin of the bride, of San Benito, TX, Ashley Cory, best friend of the bride, of Harlingen, TX, Veronica de los Santos, best friend of the bride, of San Antonio, TX, and Melissa Bean, family friend, of Mission, TX.
Flower girl was Colleen Tyler Phillips, cousin of the bride, of San Antonio, TX.
Best man was the groom’s brother, Ivan V. Gama.
Groomsmen were Bruno Gama, brother of the groom, Ivan Dominguez, family friend, Alan Perez, cousin of the groom, David Garcia, family friend and Orlando Gama, brother of the groom.
A reception was held at the Rio Grande Valley Shrine Club in La Feria, TX.
Mr. and Mrs. Gama spent their honeymoon on a Western Caribbean Cruise.
The couple will reside in Weslaco, TX.
