Wedding: Jacobsen-Hinojosa

Meredith Hayles Jacobsen and Conrado Hinojosa were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. June 21, 2008 on the beautiful and historic grounds of Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Conrado Hinojosa, grandfather of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jacobsen of McAllen. She is the granddaughter of Gisela Hayles and the late Joe E. Hayles of Midland, Texas, and Maurine Jacobsen and the late Harvey E. Jacobsen of McCamey, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrado R. Hinojosa of McAllen. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Gallardo and Mr. and Mrs. Conrado Hinojosa, all of Brownsville, Texas.

Maid of honor was Stefani Stoyanof of McAllen.

Bridesmaids included the bride's sisters, Stephanie and Kelsey Jacobsen of San Marcos, Texas, and Sara Flatt of Allen, Texas.

Jeff Bunagan of McAllen served as best man.

The groom's brothers, Joaquin and Marcos Hinojosa of McAllen and Coyne Flatt of Allen, Texas, served as groomsmen.

Greg Smith of San Marcos, Texas, served as usher.

The bride wore a Paloma Blanca A-line gown of diamond white dupioni silk. It featured a v-neck and dropped waist accented with a swarovski crystal and pearl brooch. Her headdress was a two-layered diamond white, elbow length veil adorned with swarovski crystals and attached by a swarovski crystal encrusted comb.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of spring green hydrangeas and hot pink roses, wrapped with hot pink ribbon.

Her attendants wore lime green silk tea-length dresses and carried hot pink gerber daisies accented with green, pink and orange ribbon.

Ceremony music was provided by Valley String Quartet.

A pool-side buffet dinner reception followed the ceremony, with music provided by DJ Art of McAllen.

After a honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple is at home in New Braunfels, Texas.
