VALADECES, Tamps. — Mexican authorities near this town across the border from La Grulla recovered the body of a man who drowned in the International Falcon Reservoir when his boat capsized.
Capt. Fernando Cervantes of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department said the man's family notified him Friday morning the body was recovered in the Rio Grande by Mexican authorities.
Cervantes did not release the man's name, directing comment on his identity to Mexican officials.
Four other men were in the boat when it capsized Monday afternoon, but they managed to cling to floating debris before reaching safety.
Authorities pulled the boat out of the lake Tuesday, but Cervantes said they had not determined what caused it to capsize and sink.
