Suspect in fatal Baytown shooting spotted in Valley

McALLEN — A fugitive wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Baytown man was recently spotted in the Rio Grande Valley, police said.

Juan Bocardo, 60, is accused of shooting 29-year-old Jesus Ramirez to death on June 6, according to a news release issued by the Baytown Police Department. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office issued a murder warrant for the man’s arrest.

Bocardo was seen in Weslaco and Brownsville, and police believe he may be hiding in Mexico.

The man should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the release.
