Engagement: Silva-Gomez
Miguel and Ana Silva of Edinburg are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nancy Silva, to Houston Noel Gomez, son of Noel and MaryLou Gomez of Pharr. The couple will wed at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Rock of Ages Assembly of God Church in Pharr.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Edinburg North High School and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Rehabilitative Services from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2011. She is currently employed as a Special Education teacher at North Alamo Elementary.
The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of PSJA High School and received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2009. He is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Mission Regional Medical Center.
Houston is the grandson of Marcos Gomez and Hilda Ramirez Gomez of Pharr and of the late Jose Maria Cavazos and Victoria Cavazos of Lyford.
