Mr. and Mrs. Hector R. Garcia of Rio Grande City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Georgina Ann, to Dr. David R. Villarreal of Pleasanton, TX, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard O. Villarreal of Austin, TX.
Gina earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of TX at San Antonio in 1996 and a Masters of Education from Southwest TX State University in San Marcos in 1998. She is the San Antonio area sales representative for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt School Publishers.
David graduated from James Madison University in Virginia in 1994 with a B.S. in Biology. David also graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 1999. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Audie Murphy Veterans Administration Hospital in 2000. He is the owner of Pleasanton Smiles Dental Care.
The couple plans a July 18, 2009 wedding at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton with a reception to follow at the Historic Sunset Station in downtown San Antonio.
