Three robberies might be connected, police say

SAN JUAN - Authorities are working to determine if three convenience store robberies late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning are connected.

At two of the locations, in San Juan, a man burst into the stores wearing a dark hood and carrying a black pistol. He demanded money from the registers at Yadira's convenience store at Farm-to-Market Road 495 and Hooper Street just before midnight and at the Speedy Stop at Business 83 and "I" Road about 3 a.m., said San Juan police Investigator Rolando Garcia.

Alamo police are investigating a similar robbery at the Economy Drive Inn, 701 N. Alamo Road, Alamo.

Police are reviewing security video of the robberies but as of now are unsure whether they are connected.
