McALLEN - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is scheduled to open campaign offices in Brownsville and San Antonio tomorrow afternoon.

He is opening ten offices across the state tomorrow. There are plans to open a McAllen office, but details are still being worked out, said Josh Earnest, spokesman for the Obama campaign in Texas.

Obama has yet to schedule a stop in the Rio Grande Valley but is planning an appearance before the March 4 primary. His opponent, Hillary Clinton, was in McAllen Tuesday for a rally and is scheduled to appear again at the University of Texas-Pan American next Wednesday.

Obama is leading Clinton 1,275 delegates to 1,220 delegates, according to the latest Associated Press count.

The Brownsville office is located at 305 E. Elizabeth Street; the grand opening is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The San Antonio Office is located at 311 Third Street; the grand opening is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
