Moreira returning for 2010 season

PHARR — Bravos FC on Wednesday announced that coach Ismael Moreira Braga will return for the 2010 season.

 “The organization is very happy with the results that Coach Moreira Braga obtained this season,” Bravos FC general manager Miguel Puente said in a statement.

“It’s not an easy task to build a team from nothing in less tan six months and turn it into a competitive one with an aggressive and offensive style that is entertaining for the fans,” Puente added.

Moreira, who played for legendary Brazilian clubs Botafogo, Flamengo and Santos, and was selected to the Brazilian National Team from 1967-70, debuted as Bravos FC’s coach on May 8.

Moreira finished the season with a 6-5-5 record in Bravos FC’s 2009 inaugural season, good for with 23 points and fifth place in the Mid South Division of the PDL.
