JD Carrera has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Tabor College Bluejays in Kansas. According to Head Football Coach Mike Gottsch, "Carrera a 6' 205-pound quarter-back will add depth to the wide receiver and quarterback position next season.  JD is a quality individual who will be a leader on the Tabor College campus.  He will play quarterback and wide receiver at Tabor."

JD would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Jamaar Taylor from Taylor Sports Performance, Coach Sonny Detmer, and Houston's  Milby High School Head Football Coach Camp for training him during his high school years.

JD is the son of Danny and Norma Carrera of Mission. Pictured left to right are: Tabor Head Football Coach Mike Gottsch, JD Carrera, Norma Carrera(Mother) and Danny Carrera(Father).
