The Monitor

NEAR MISSION — U.S. Border Patrol officers apprehended a group of undocumented immigrants Monday south of Mission, according to an agency news release.

While processing the 15 immigrants — three from Mexico and 12 from El Salvador — authorities discovered that one of them had a prior murder conviction in Minnesota.

The group was processed and faces deportation, while the convicted murderer will face illegal re-entry charges.
