Blitz is a pretty, young adult female Weimaraner. She is gray with amber eyes, leash trained and friendly. She just arrived but settled in quickly and loves attention. She is healthy and HW negative also. She is under 2 years old and needs a secure fenced yard.

Marci & Darci, little twin sisters, are blonde, short wiry haired Terrier mixes, approximately 4 months old. They are very friendly and playful, and weigh only around 6-7 lbs. right now, so will stay small when grown.

Cheyene is a beautiful spayed female Hound who is 2 1/2 years old, micro-chipped, has had first obedience, is verbal and loving, and is housetrained and crate trained. She loves to ride in cars and go on walks. She is an indoor dog but needs a secure fenced yard to get out and exercise in. She loves attention and is a smart dog. She is not good with cats or small dogs though and would be better with older children since she likes to play so much. She would be a great family pet and companion.

Female lab mix~puppies are brown/black brindle with a little white. They are 4 months old, friendly, playful and get along good with other dogs.

Stuart is a male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, neutered adult, leash trained, fine with other dogs and people. He weighs approximately 10 lbs. and is housetrained.

Leo is a 6-year-old male Chow mix that was rescued from the side of FM 511 in Brownsville. He had little hair except some around the head. He was so weak he couldn’t stand. Food and water were forced the first night. The vet wanted to euthanize him the next day, but I insisted that we give him a chance. He survived and has grown a “lion’s coat” of hair. Actually, I call him my lion. He is very sweet and very grateful for everything. Contact Lavice.

Rachel is a female Border Collie that was rescued from the Brownsville Shelter and is currently in a temporary foster home. She is smart, high energy and would make a great companion. Contact Lavice.

Peanut is a fairly young male Chihuahua that likes kids and other dogs. He is heartworm negative. Contact Casey.

Pete is an adult male Shepherd mix. He has been at the shelter for a while now and is in great need of a loving forever home. He is a calm dog and is great walking on a leash. He has a loving and laid back personality and is looking for a family to play with, love and call his own.

Hiro is an adult male American Blue Heeler mix. He is a great dog with a calm personality. He does not seem to do well with other dogs so he will need to be in a home where he can be the only dog.

Tommy is an adult male Terrier mix. He is a small little guy with a very loving personality. He loves activity and has a lot of energy. He doesn’t seem to mind other animals and seems to be a great dog.

Ricky is an adult male Domestic Shorthair Lynx Point mix. He is a smart cat that seems to get along well with other cats. He is very friendly and loves to be petted and receive attention.

Dora is an adult female Domestic Shorthair cat. She loves to play with toys and receive attention, and is very loving. She is spayed and litter box trained.

Diana is an adult female Domestic Shorthair Seal Point mix. She is a wonderful and beautiful cat. She prefers her own space and enjoys her time alone but would make a great addition to a family that is willing to give her plenty of love and space. She is spayed and litter box trained.
