“Legally Blonde the Musical” hits the city at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at the McAllen Civic Center.
The story focuses on Elle Woods, the popular sorority girl who prefers fashion, mani-pedis and shopping to studying while at college. However, when her boyfriend dumps her after his acceptance to Harvard Law School, Woods puts her nose to the grindstone and gets in, too.
The blockbuster 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon spawned a sequel and this Tony-nominated hit Broadway musical.
