Wedding: Mirelez-Villarreal

Monica R. Mirelez and Ismael Villarreal were united in Holy Matrimony on February 7, 2009 at the Chapel by the Sea in South Padre Island. Her cousin, Rolando Mireles, Jr. performed the double-ring ceremony. A special message was given to the couple by Rolando Mireles (uncle of the bride).
The bride is daughter of the Hector and Emma Mirelez of McAllen. She is the granddaughter of the late Lorenzo and Guadalupe Ortiz of La Grulla and the late Abelardo II and Emma Mireles of Los Ebanos.
The groom is the son of the late Israel and Guadalupe Villarreal of Mazon, Illinois. He is the grandson of the late Inez and Paulina Villarreal of Sullivan City and the late Guadalupe and Otilia Trevino of La Grulla.
Maid of honor was Gena Reynolds of Arlington, formerly of McAllen. 
Matron of honor was Omalee Pena Ramirez of San Antonio, formerly of McAllen. 
Bridesmaids were Gracie Stanford of Dallas, Priscilla Rodriguez of Salt Lake City, UT, Joanne Garza Emerson of San Antonio, Irene Mireles Beckman of Mission (cousin of the bride).
Junior bridesmaids were Raquel and Richelle Mireles of Ramona, CA (cousins of the bride).
Best man was Louis Trevino of Mazon, Illinois (cousin of the groom). 
Groomsmen were J.R. Esgar of St. Louis, MO, Jaime Winsor of Verona, IL, Eric Trevino of Morris, IL (cousin of the groom), Travis Trevino of Cedar Hill (cousin of the groom), Leo Trevino of Las Vegas, NV (cousin of the groom).
Flower girls were Avari Trevino of Morris, IL and Emily Walker of Garland. 
Ring bearer was Hector Mirelez, Jr. of Plano, IL (nephew of the bride). He is the son of Hector Homar (formerly of McAllen) and Marbella Mirelez, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. 
Scripture readers were Nieves Ortiz of Mission (aunt of the bride) and Jesus Zarate of Hoopeston, IL (cousin of the groom).
A poem was read by Roxanna Ortiz De Los Santos of San Antonio, formerly of Mission (cousin of the bride).
Pianist was Isai Mireles of Tulsa, OK, formerly of La Victoria (cousin of the bride).
Following the ceremony, a formal cocktail and reception was held at the Isla Grand Beach Resort.
The bride is self-employed and the groom is employed by Reichhold Chemicals, Inc.
After their honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Countryside, Illinois.
