TxDOT road conditions

U.S. 83 from Farm-to-Market 1425 to FM 506 is opened to two lanes of traffic. Motorists can expect some temporary lane reductions on westbound U.S. 83 in the area to allow TxDOT to perform pavement repairs. This area of highway is in construction and maximum lanes available are two lanes in each direction.

>> Intersection of FM 493 just 1mile south of FM 2812

>> FM 88 and Mile 12

Cameron County

>> FM 2556 from Bus 83 to US 281

>> FM 800 from south of Bus 83 to FM 3067

>> FM 506 from Cavazos Road (south of FM 2556) north to FM 2629

>> FM 506 at the Floodway

>> FM 1420 from FM 508 to FM 2629

Motorists should never cross roadways with water because the depth of the water is unknown.
