The robbery occurred at the 100 block of Nadia Street about 2:13 a.m., San Juan police Chief Juan Gonzalez said. The victim told police three men approached him as he was arriving home and pushed him against a wall. The group demanded his wallet but the victim told them he did not have one, the chief said. The group made off with the keys to his gold-colored Silverado truck instead.
Investigators are looking for three Hispanic males with a slim build. They are believed to be in their early to mid-20s. Witnesses said the men were riding in a red Pontiac Grand Am during the carjacking.
