Gabriel Iglesias is a hard-to-miss comedian.

The California native has made a career out of being "the ‘fluffy’ comic in the Hawaiian shirt."

Soon he’ll be harder to overlook, because he’s coming to the Valley.

The funny man, who has made appearances on Comedy Central, is coming to the McAllen Civic Center on Oct. 2.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at www.ez-tixx.com.

Recently, Iglesias has been gaining popularity in the comedy scene.

His style of comedy, which combines storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects, has propelled him to the forefront of the scene.

He recently filmed his second one-hour special for Comedy Central, which will debut in October. The special, titled 2 Hot 2 Fluffy, is “packed with a perfect blend of impeccable voice skills and an uncanny knack for hilarious storytelling,” according to a press release.
