McAllen director Hardwicke plans next project

McHi graduate Catherine Hardwicke is working to bring Plush to the big screen.

The script, co-written by Hardwicke and Artie Nelson, is an erotic thriller, much like a modern-day Fatal Attraction, and will star Evan Rachel Wood.

Wood and Hardwicke last worked together on Thirteen, a 2003 film which earned Hardwicke several film festival nominations and awards for her direction and writing.

The former Valleyite also directed the first Twilight film and Red Riding Hood.
