ACA MEETINGS
Adult Children of Alcoholics/ACA of the RGV is a support group that meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, located at 1401 S. Nebraska in San Juan. This is a 30-year-old 12-step-based support group. If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired because your childhood included a history of addictions; physical, sexual, mental or emotional and neglect, we welcome you. AL-ANON FAMILY GROUPS
If your home is unhappy because someone drinks too much, we can help. Al-Anon Family Groups, including Alateen, offer understanding and support to families and friends of problem drinkers. ALZHEIMERS LUNCH AND LEARN GROUP
The Alzheimer's Lunch and Learn Group will meet the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon at La Trinidad United Methodist Church, 105 E. Warren Street in Pharr. The Spanish sessions will meet the third Wednesday of each month. There will be guest speakers and special programs.
AUTISM SUPPORT GROUP
The Autism Support Group meets the third Tuesday of the month from 6 to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in McAllen, Nolana and McColl. Free daycare is available for children with autism and their siblings. For more information, call Michelle Guerrero at (956) 929-5444.
BETTER BREATHER'S GROUP
The Mission Regional Medical Center's Better Breather's Group will meet the second Wednesday of every month from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Hospital Conference Room A. DBSA MEETINGS
Depression Bipolar Support Alliance, DBSA, have their meetings at Trinity Episcopal Church, located at 210 W. Caffery in Pharr every third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. Support groups for individuals with mood disorders and their family members will be offered. Those interested are invited to attend. There are no fees to attend.
DIABETES EDUCATION CLASSES
Diabetes Education Classes are offered every Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the 3rd Floor East Classroom at McAllen Medical Center, located at 301 W. Expy. 83 in McAllen. Classes are provided in English and Spanish every other week. For more information call (956) 971-5850.
STROKE SUPPORT GROUP

HEPATTITIS C SUPPORT GROUP
"New Beginnings" is an anonymous support group facilitated by people who have experience with combination therapy. MCALLEN ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUPS
Two Alzheimer's Support Groups meet at First United Methodist Church, located at 4200 N. McColl Road in McAllen, on the third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and are primarily for the caregivers but the loved one may also come if appropriate. MENTAL HEALTH COALITION OF THE RGV
Do you or a loved one suffer from depression, schizophrenia or bi-polar disorder? Do you feel frustrated or isolated while attempting to deal with mental illness? Are you a mental health professional interested in helping to de-stigmatize and de-mystify mental illness? If so, we invite you to join the Mental Health Coalition of the RGV and attend our monthly support group meetings held the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, located 2 blocks south of Bus. 83 on Bluebonnet in Pharr. We are not affiliated with the church, and everyone, regardless of religious orientation, is invited to attend. Remember, you don't have to face mental illness alone. Parents for MASH is a nonprofit organization established for foster communication and support among families or individuals with disabilities. MASH offers support, guidance and educational information to assist families in meeting the challenging demands of their child's special needs. Texas Oncology/South Texas Cancer Center Volunteers are seeking interested people to join in support to patients undergoing treatment at the center.
