Florentino and San Juana Gutierrez of McAllen announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Vanessa Gutierrez, to Jason Gonzalez, son of Rojelio and Jeannette Gonzalez of McAllen. The couple will wed at 7 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008 at Casa Los Ebanos in San Benito. Justice of the Peace Julian Sanchez will perform the single ring ceremony.

The bride-elect graduated from Nikki Rowe High School and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from UTPA. She is employed at Bank of America.

The groom-elect graduated from Nikki Rowe High School and is employed by the Department of Homeland Security as a Federal Contract Security Officer.
