What kind of facilities does your city need? I think the city of Edinburg could use another museum. They are very educational and can teach you many things about history. I also think our city could use a few more nicer parks.
In 10 years, can you imagine yourself living and working in the Rio Grande Valley? Why or why not? Do you think the Valley is a good place to raise a family? Yes, I can picture myself living and working in the RGV because it’s a perfect living environment; it’s not too small and not too big. I think it’s a great place to raise a family so your kids can grow up where you grew up, and so they can enjoy all the wonderful things the Valley has to offer, like the outlets, museums and diversity.
What pressures do teenagers of today face and how can you overcome them? Teenagers of today tend to be into a lot more drugs and alcohol than before. Most of which are pressured into doing them. To overcome something as big as drugs and alcohol, the best thing to do is just stay away from both of them.
What have you contributed to your community? What effect has it had? I volunteered
at Catholic charities when we got struck by Hurricane Dolly to help the citizens who suffered the most. I have also contributed to my community by participating in the Trash Bash to make my community cleaner. I have also helped out at the Escandon Elementary 2010 Winter Festival by helping to set up and doing what I could to ensure that the kids enjoyed the festival.
