LOS EBANOS -- Authorities discovered the body of a man who likely drowned while attempting to illegally immigrate to the country, Sheriff Lupe Treviño said.

The man, discovered about 300 yards south of Los Ebanos on Saturday, remains unidentified.

Treviño said no foul play is suspected.
