Anniversary: Sanchez

Mr. and Mrs. Guadelupe Sanchez of Edcouch, Texas celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on May 17, 2009. Mr. Guadelupe "Tone" Sanchez married Maria Alicia Alaniz on May 17, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez have lived in the Edcouch-Elsa area all their lives where Tone retired from Santa Rosa Sugar Mill and Maria Alicia retired from Edcouch-Elsa I.S.D. They are faithful members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They have been a true inspiration to all their children and grandchildren. Their children are Jose (Lydia) Sanchez of Edcouch, Texas, Elizabeth Sanchez of Elsa, Texas, Antonio (Cynthia) Sanchez of Weslaco, Texas, Miguel (Maurisia) Sanchez of Edcouch, Texas and Carlos (Julissa) Sanchez of Elsa, Texas. Alicia and Guadelupe have 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
