McALLEN — Police are looking for another man in connection with a weekend home invasion that left two men dead.
On Wednesday, McAllen Police announced they are looking for Jaime Horacio Saldivar, in connection with Saturday’s botched home invasion at the 4800 block of La Vista.
Through a news release, police said that Saldivar is believed to be the man known as boxer. Saldivar is sought as a person of interest in the case and not as a suspect; he has an arrest warrant on an unrelated probation violation charge, the release shows.
Investigators are still working to identify a man known only as El Cholo.
Police have already obtained arrest warrants for 23-year-old Joseph Espinoza who faces murder and aggravated robbery in connection with the home invasion. Authorities are also looking for 32-year-old Hector Nicolas Medina Castillo who is sought on two warrants one charging him with murder and one charging him with possession of marijuana. Investigators have also obtained a warrant for Luz Aurora Rivera charging her with one count of possession of marijuana. She is believed to have been in the house with Medina Castillo when a group of gunmen tried to storm in setting of a violent firefight.
After the firefight, a group of unknown individuals dropped off 22-year-old David Means at a Mission hospital, he died shortly after. The second man to die that night was 32-year-old Arturo Hinojosa who was rushed to a McAllen hospital but also died afterwards.
